Wine born from the Banfi adventure in the Bolgheri area. A vintage with a fairly regular vegetative trend, in which the heavy rains of mid-September were the only critical moment. Thanks to the actions taken in the vineyard and, then, in the cellar, the quality results were excellent. Complex aromas, characterized by hints of small red fruits accompanied by notes of tobacco and licorice. Soft wine with sweet and elegant tannins. and a long and persistent finish. Thanks to the good structure and elegance that distinguish it, Aska goes perfectly with game dishes like stewed roe or tortelli with wild boar ragout.
Light and fruity flavours with hints of peach flowers, sage and apple. It's ideal with fruits, fruit desserts and mild cheeses.The wine ages for 2 years in various sizes oak barrels; the wine is subsequently aged in bottle for an additional 8-12 months before release. Deep red color, with a bit of garnet. The scent is pleasant and complex, with hints of plum, ripe cherry and red fruits, well integrated with notes of licorice and tobacco. On the palate is full, with a powerful and elegant structure and soft and harmonious tannins. The finish is very persistent.
Chianti Classico zone located between Florence and Siena. The soil is calcareous and well-structured. Fermentation takes place with a traditional skin contact of 8-10 days. A short wood aging in large casks of French oak follows. Bottling is carried out in the summer following the harvest. Intense with notes of cherries, plums, and violets. A cru of select vineyards immediately surrounding the medieval Castello Banfi, historically known as Poggio alle Mura (the walled hilltop), in the southern part of Montalcino. Fermented in stainless steel with traditional maceration. Aged for a minimum of four years, including at least 24 months in oak (90% in French barriques and 10% in Slavonian casks) and 24 months bottle aging before release. A Brunello born in the estate vineyards that the zonation studies, which started in 1980, identified as the most suitable for Sangiovese. Elegant and balanced Brunello, with a good persistence, complex and sweet aromas and with an important but soft structure and a nice final acidity.
The Banrock Station Moscato displays fresh, lifted muscat aromatics, with subtle hints of freshly crushed grapes. This wine is light bodied with retained natural fruit sweetness, showing flavours of pineapple and, tropical fruits on the palate. The Banrock Station Pink Moscato displays fresh, floral aromatic notes with a touch of sherbet and musk. The palate exhibits fresh musky flavours with a delicate fairy floss characteristic to it. The natural fruit sweetness is balanced with the fresh acid finish and the gentle spritz gives the wine a refreshing touch.
The rich patchwork of chateaux in the Medoc produces ruby-coloured, well-rounded wines that are a fine accompaniment to many dishes. Legende Pauillac is made from grapes grown in Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) own vineyards and, once again, the wines are made with the same attention to detail as for the Grand Vin. This wine shows vibrant primary fruit flavours of plums, red berries and spices. Finishing soft and round with velvety smooth tannins. Malbec is rarely seen as a varietal wine but here at Bleasdale and in Langhorne Creek it stands on its own two feet and performs well enough to earn its stripes.
