Chardonnay has its origins in the Burgundy region of France and takes it name from a small town in the Moconnais.

These days, it is grown almost anywhere where wines are produced. Winemakers love chardonnay because it is easy to grow and because of its qualities, winemakers love to flex their wine making technique with this grape.
