Anakena Alwa refers to the meaning “SUNRISE” in indigenous Aymara language. It represents the soul and creative force of existence, a passion channelled in crafting this extra ordinary wine. Deep, inviting, ruby red colour. A proudly Chilean wine that wears its origins on its chest, but with a definite nod to the old world. deeply complex with hints of cassis, blackberry, leather and ink on the nose. The palate is elegant, structured and long ,with the finest silky tannins and a delicate touch of oak. Accompany this wine a wide range of dishes from pheasant, duck & wild mushroom risotto to an empanada de pino.
