Description:
An exceptional Cru Bourgeois since the 1930s, Château Chasse Spleen has stood out from the crowd thanks to its very personal style. Planted on the ridges of the Grand Poujeux plateau, the vines of Château benefit from a typical Médoc terroir. In the glass, the 2018 presents an attractive dark color. The nose is expressive, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and curry. On the palate, there’s plenty of freshness and power. The structure is taut, with perfectly chiselled tannins. The finish, strongly marked by cocoa, lasts for long Secondes.
