The ripeness, fresh acidity, and well-structured tannins its stellar growing conditions provided are now coming into their own as this Cru Bourgeois so deliciously demonstrates. Fine, sophisticated nose of restrained, ripe fruit, and generous palate of ripe, almost stewed red fruit with hints of spice, heather and tobacco. Lots of complex flavours here supported by strong silky tannins and streaks of minerality. Endless finish.
