I for one enjoy the Chinese New Year celebrations most! I love all things related to CNY be it the decos, the vibrant colours (red, red & more reds!), ang pow packets, the lively CNY songs (I can sing a couple by heart, no kidding!) and all the phrases of good wishes (I think I know at least 6 to 8 of them!) and that we have 15 days to celebrate it. The one thing that I enjoy the most during CNY – the food!!!
We all know it’s been a difficult time this past year and for this year, we would most probably have to celebrate CNY with our immediate family and do video call with the rest of the clan (thanks to technology). But that shouldn’t stop us from practicing one of our most favourite occasion in the calendar, right?
Well, in my family we always enjoy our meals with wine. This year won’t be any different but some of us might have a tighter budget due to the current situation and so I’ve selected some really affordable wines to pair with what I’ll usually cook during CNY for my family and friends.
