Tempranillo is a variety of red grape that is widely grown in Spain to produce full-bodied red wines. It has been grown on the Iberian Peninsular since Phoenician times. Tempranillo wines are often characterised by a dark ruby colour with aromas and flavours of berries, plum, tobacco, vanilla leather and herbs. Interesting fact: Tempranillo is the most widely planted red grape variety in Spain.

100% Tempranillo RESERVA DE LA FAMILIA is the selection of the best grapes of the winery Finca El Revollar which located at altitude 510meter above sea level with only 2.74 with a size of 2.74Hectar, vines average between 30-45 years old with yields of 2,000 to 3,000 Kg / Ha. Grapes destem Aging in 100% French oak barrels for 18 months with racking every 6 months. Attractive dark fruits aroma, silky tannin with juicy acidity. Excellent balance and smooth ending with the taste of balsamic and dark chocolate. Long lasting and living wine.
100% Tempranillo Once the fruit has been selected, the processing is based on the destemming of the bunches and the soft grinding of the berries. The wine remains in barrels for twelve months and its aging is interrupted every six months to carry out the traditional racking from barrel to barrel. Visually the wine has an intense cherry color with bright rims. On the nose fruity aromas, dark coffee and marked minerals assembled with a fine wood are perceived. Taste on the palate is smooth with medium fresh body and with relief, quality tannins, tasty and alive.
